Dahlia Preference
We grew Dahlia Preference years ago and lost it in storage. It was one of those varieties that hung around in my mind so we hunted to bring it back, and I am so glad we did! This Dahlia is a small surprise with its uncommonly dark foliage, reddish-brown stems, and leaves- which we have only ever seen similarly in KA’s Rosie Jo. As one of the first to bloom, Preference gives you variety amongst the sea of peach Ball Dahlias, as it is a small cactus. The shape of these blooms is very workable in the design world. Centers were closed throughout the season and only opened towards the end.
