If there is a Dahlia variety I’ve decided I can’t live without for the fall, it’s KA’s Mocha Katie. Kristine Albrecht of Santa Cruz Dahlias hybridizes this dahlia. The color perfectly blends burgundy tones, tans, raspberry, and soft peaches. It took a bit of work to convince our florists to use it (tricky color to describe), but once they did, they were hooked! We cut every. I mean, EVERY stem as soon as fall hit. Plants are shorter but prolific. Stems are strong and a good length.
